CREATIVE ART
SPRING EVENT OPENER 2018
A creative concept I spearheaded for a women's event at Impact Church called Girl's Night Out. The idea was to showcase the ministry of Impact Women and what they represent. I wanted to showcase different types of women coming together as one. The concept of the dance was to show different types of dance and how they work together. The choreographer, Kiersten really helped bring this to life!

ONE HOUR PROJECT AZ
One Hour Project is an exercise in collaboration and concision. A video artist, dancemaker and dancer are paired randomly together and given exactly one hour to create, costume, and shoot a 60 second dance film in a unique space/place.
I enjoyed the project because it taught me to be concise with my art. To clearly understand the vision and execute while still staying true to my eye as an editor....all of this was challenging but so fun!

Impact Women Spring 2018 Promo
This promo video was inspired by the I Am Second video series I found on YouTube many years ago. I wanted to create an all black room effect with a light on top of every person. My friend Angela helped dress and style each lady and really came through the day of helping me execute this vision. I also had help from my friend Freda with the vision and ideas.
This video was made to promote the women's event happening on Friday, April 27th at my home church, Impact Church.

Culture Shock Young Adult Service Promo
I had the privilege of filming and editing this promo video the young adults group at at my home church, Impact Church, in Scottsdale, AZ called Culture Shock. Visually, my favorite part is the graffiti wall with the dancer. It somewhat reminds me of the original iTunes commercials back in the day with color-filled screens and dancing silhouettes. With each person I filmed I tried to recreate shots that I would see on TV or in movies and then pepper in touches of abstract visuals. Our senior pastor likes to keep things upbeat and professional so I did that with the help of our video director, Freda. She filmed the shots you see of college students and we, along with another colleague, collaborated on the final product. I haven't done something like this in a long time so it was fun being able to work on this with friends!

SAVED BY A STRANGER 2009
I can't believe this project was seven years ago. I was 21 years old and had this grandiose idea that me and twelve of my friends could make a movie with one camera and no budget. At the time, it was daunting and a lot of people doubted us...but 7,000 hours later we did it!
Finishing this movie made me believe that anything IS possible and if you have an idea, you should go for it because you never know how it may help someone in the future.
My heart shattered when I found out the star of our film, Matt Grata, passed away a couple of years ago; but it makes me even more proud to have worked on this. He'll always be remembered by this and I'll never forget the laughs, late hours, and friendships that were made between us as a team.
What you create IS your legacy...so keep creating...and always believe in yourself and the people surrounding you.
To every person that helped with this project, THANK YOU. You helped me believe in something I never thought was possible...and I'm so proud!
